Here at Christ Church we try to reach as many people aged 50+ as possible. Bereavement, loneliness and physical problems can cause seniors to lose confidence and feel unwanted, and we endevour to show them they are precious  and still have a part to play in society. We run a variety of different groups so please get in touch if you'd like to join or just turn up. Everyone is welcome!

Senior Lunches

On the third Thursday of each month from 12.30 - 2.00 pm we run a seniors lunch which includes a two course hot meal, a short talk and plenty of time to chatter with friends. These lunches are themed and great fun!

Tea and Talk

On the first Thursday of each month from 2.30 - 4.30 pm we run tea and talk. As well as enjoying drinks and cake together there is often someone speaking on a general theme or a craft activity for all to join in with.

This stands for 'Prayer and share together times' and is one of the many church small groups. They meet on the first Tuesday of every month from 2.00 - 4.00 pm at the Church. The group is a Bible study and prayer time for believers, but not exclusively so.

This group is another group very similar to Pastimes and they meet on the second Tuesday of every month from 2.30 - 4.30 pm. You can attend either Pastimes or Wayfarers but many of our seniors choose to attend both.

If you would like more information about our senior activities then please contact Jacqui in the office on 01727 859806
