There are always opportunities to serve at Christ Church.

At present we would love people for:

  • Can you offer a lift to an elderly person so that they can continue worshipping at Christ Church - once a month or even once or twice a year - it all helps.
  • The Shack - This group for 8-13 year olds is on the brink of closing down! We are the only club in the area which caters for this age group so it would be a shame to shut The Shack. To volunteer you need to be available between 7.15 and 9.30 pm on term-time Fridays, either weekly or on a rota basis.
  • The Shack: we also need a co-leader alongside Chris
  • Little Acorns - We have a thriving toddler group which is known to be ‘the best in St Albans’. Becki currently needs someone to come alongside her in an 'oversight' role to help support and run the weekly sessions. To volunteer you need to be available between 9 and 11.30 am on term-time Wednesdays, either weekly or on a rota basis.
  • Messy Church (meeting every month on the fourth Sunday afternoon) - craft work, furniture shifting, cooking and serving food, chatting with guests.
  • Messy Mondays - Our new after school club for primary aged children and their families is already a great success. Becki and Rosie are currently running this group but really need a few extra helpers around to relieve the pressure. To volunteer you need to be available between 3 and 5 pm on term-time Mondays, either weekly or on a rota basis.
  • Please contact Jacqui in the office on 01727 859806 if you can help with any of the above
