Christ Church activities and the increasing spread of the Coronavirus

Saturday 28 March 2020
Last week was a busy one for Jeremy, the Wardens an the staff, making plans for the Sunday service, for Kids/Tots Church, testing out the technology and also ensuring that we have a plan to enable us to keep in touch with each other and take special care of the more vulnerable people in our community.
Following on from the government advice at the beginning of this week, Christ Church is now closed to the public until further notice, with the exception of our Foodbank on a Tuesday afternoon. Even though the building is closed, we, the church - the people - cannot be separated from our God nor from each other in fellowship, respecting social-distancing and also in prayer.
Head over to our Youtube Channel by searching for 'Christ Church St Albans' and you will find some vlogs from our vicar Jeremy and a couple of Kids Church sessions that can be used in families. We are also streaming our services at 10am every Sunday.

Tuesday 17 March 2020:
In the light of updated advice from the archbishop's we are suspending our 9am and 10.40am services with immediate effect for the foreseeable future.

We will update church members with any further updates via email/text and the website. Changes to any other church meetings will be advised separately.

Please address any queries to the office in the first instance.

Unfortunately due to several members of the volunteer team self-isolating, The Shack Youth Group is suspended until further notice.

Regrettably we have decided to postpone the three Saturday Morning The Way Forward Part II sessions (21st, 28th March and 4th April) until the Autumn.
